Yet another consequence of no new coalition events?

Being as Oktagon has felt Coalition events are not pertinent to the current environment of the game (they couldn't be more wrong), we have missed out on what was possibly going to become the norm. The promo cards being rewards from current set coalition events.

We got Firesong and Sunspeaker (the DOM promo) from DOM's coalition event.
We got Dragon's Hoard (the M19 promo) from M19's coalition event.

We missed this beauty in GRN

And it looks as though we'll be missing out on this one from RNA

Even with the garbage turn timer and the leveling issues, I'd put the lack of new coalition events at the forefront of priorities alongside bugs.

Sure, both of those issues should be addressed but levels and turns and cards are all irrelevant if we have nothing new to play them in.

We need new coalition events. We want these others issues to be resolved.

Lots of bad decisions going on around here. I forgot about the wurm which is just an awesome card. I'm pretty disappointed in not getting The Haunt of Hightower as well. He would have been so easy to translate into PQ too... 16 mana, copy the rest from paper, done. There is a 65% chance I quit playing once 3.3 releases.

I'm worried that the new game implementations like the timer nobody wants and the new graphics most are indifferent to, will cause a significant increase of game losses due to matches freezing.

    Brace yourself

I'm kind of late to the party because for me, I'm just now hitting the point where I'm trying to do better than "participate" in the Coalition Events (I want to actually do good, now).

I'm less concerned about MORE and would prefer BETTER. We kind of just have the one Coalition Event with different skins slapped on it... Surely there's a more interesting engaging way to do it, isn't there?

Not to mention, I love that Impervious Greatwurm.

There probably is a better way of building events, we've put suggestions out there; however, given that they are incapable of making new events by just reskinning old ones, getting them to make new events with whole new skins is asking too much.

Also, they've tried taking that old skin, reskinning it, and adding other stuff to it which has resulted in overly complex events; TDW with it's 5 nodes, each with 3 colors and a permanent node support with abilities that tie into your PW's abilities.

I realize. It's a little frustrating that I'm not even sure what I want the dev team to focus on at this point. Fixing the looping problem (it's definitely a problem, but I'm pretty sure the solution they've put forth creates a different, less fun problem), addressing the concerns of the players with mastery, and better content.

I'm hoping 3.3 drops earlier in the week than later, it'll be nice to have some new content (cards and deck building) to keep me distracted from other issues.
