We had written down the number at the time we announced the contest, and the correct answer is....

• 1,147,683 Red Booster Packs

Congratulations to the winners.

@Brigby - I don’t understand that the number is so high, particularly since I can’t remember when I last received a red booster pack. Was this more prolific during the first year or are the red booster pack part of prizes in events no longer running?

They're quite often part of cash purchases and Pop up every once in a while. Often as premium packs (so each purchase = 5 boosters). Also, over some months I think around 1-1.5 years ago you could buy colored premium packs for gold + they were purchasable as normal boosters as well.

@Laeuftbeidir - thanks for clarifying. My bid was way to low since these packs were quite obscure. But it seem I was not the only one who asked for clarification during the submission of answer.

Once upon a time I think they sold them as a Booster Box as well (which I believe was 14 5-card packs). It's been a while though so don't take this as gospel.

Yup. They sometimes pop up in the vault for specific card sets, and/or are certain event rewards. I believe the last time we made Red packs available was during the Valentine's Day celebration.
