While it's no California festival or theme park (sorry Shuri), we're bringing a celebration of the amazing heroes and heroines of Wakanda to MPQ this week!

    I’m as excited as anyone for a new feeder but can’t see who fits. 

    Open are:  Archie, Banner, Kitty, Gambit, Strange.  None seem to good candidates under this celebration.  I think we can assume no Latest will be fed, not that they fit a Wakanda theme anyway. 

    Side note:  We may have a new winner in the “Most Seen Costume” category. Okoye is wearing Demiurge tonight, appearing in a stunning red dress while making a bold choice to keep the bald look.

    If we want to get picky, the vast majority of the time she has that outfit and is wielding her spear, she isn't wearing a wig.

    Banner at least was in Wakanda in Infinity War. Hulkbuster would be a fun feeder for him. :)

    I got Okoye's deep cover costume with my free token. It was extra surprising since I had no idea that costume was even a thing. Then I looked the vault over and decided to buy it out. WORTH IT.

    Boy, there’s going to be a lot of angry people if they do.  I’m going with no. 

    Also note that that the PvP events close after the vault closes.  They reward alliance tokens at the end. I’m sure they have standard pvp stores attached to them.

    Is there a reason for the Wakanda celebration? It is Black History Month, but the post made no mention of it. I hope they do more themed events + vaults in the future. Its a great way to access those supports, and I like it as a release model for costumes. Way better than the $75 price tag

    Also, the first superhero film to get a Best Picture nom....kind of a big deal in that regard.

    Feb 16 with the one year anniversary of releasing the Black Panther movie.  That could be one reason also.
