does anyone know why we can not count on Sabretooth yet, after all this time, in the game?

    Because there are only so many releases that aren't cross-promotions for one thing or the other. Particularly true for X-men and related characters as they aren't cross-promoted period so they have to be snuck in into the non-promoted releases. At least we are getting X-men characters again now...

    Also, players aren't as interested in aquiring villains it seems so most releases will be heroes.

    This thread reminds me of an old Peter David written issue of Spider-man:

    Sabretooth (leaping at Spider-man): "You can't avoid Sabretooth!"
    Spider-man (swinging away): "Sure I can, I just brush between meals!"
