What level is the majority of your roster?

Most of the time when I think about my 4* progress, its just about how many I have left to champ or how far I got until a feeder drops a 5. But I was curious about where most of my champs were. This is what I found

70-269         6
270-279       8
280-289      10
290-299      19
300-309      22
310-319      9
320+           4

What about you? I guess the longer the game goes on these numbers should stay about the same but just shifted upward.

Here's a better question: how long will it take for your new 4* to reach max champ?  Or in other words, how long is the 4* farming cycle? 3 years? 4 years? 5 years?  I think I gain (on average) 1.7 covers per 4* per month.  So, 113 covers would take around 66 months, which is 5.5 years! (but they keep adding more 4*s, which would make this take longer).  I've been tracking my 3* champ levels, and I gain (on average) 7 levels per 3* per month.  So, 113 covers would take around 16 months.
So, I guess this boils down to this: By Day 500, you could have entered 5* play with most 3*s max champed and your highest 4*s around 295.

Mine looks a little more like a bell curve:

    70-269: 2

    310-329: 36

    <209: 2 (Spider-Ham and Tasky)
209: 3 (Domino, Ant-Man, Eddie Brock, all at 12 covers)
210: 15 (fully covered, need ISO)
    270-279: 23
    280-289: 26
    290-299: 8
    300: 1 (Vulture)

Other than Spider-Ham and Tasky, all the un-champed ones have some saved covers, but fewer than 10, so they'd end up in the 270-279 category if I had the ISO.

    Oh, why not:

Not Rostered: 25 (what can I say?  I'm not a completionist)
70-269:         9 (all at max level covers will allow)
    270-279:       23
    280-289:      20
    290-299:      1 (Devil Dino at 299)

I like to build my characters as evenly as possible. Looking at the below I think I did a decent job, lol.

    70-269: Spider-Ham

    270-289: 13
    290-309: 54
    310-329:10

70-269: 4 (with Prowler waiting on iso to champ)
    270-279: 24
    280-289: 28
    290-300: 13
    300-309: 8

I've mostly used bonus heroes to help get characters up to 13 covers and then switched to another, so champ levels after that point are mostly random giving a fairly smooth bell curve.

70-269: 1 (Spider-Ham; covered, just need ISO to champ)
    270-279: 2

    290-299: 19
    300-309: 20
    310-319: 16
    320-329: 8
    330-339: 2
    340-349: 1

Nothing above that yet. I've actually been thinking about this for awhile, just never sat down and took inventory, so thanks for giving me the incentive to do that.

    290-299 - 12
    300-309 - 26

    350-359 - 1 (350)
    360-369 - 0
    370 - 0

Average 4* level across roster is 291
Average 4* level counting only champs is 303

So, I guess this boils down to this: By Day 500, you could have entered 5* play with most 3*s max champed and your highest 4*s around 295.
This is hard to estimate.  As your champ levels get higher (4* and 5*) your champ rewards start getting much better.  So if you graphed it, it would be more like an exponential downward slope than a straight line based on your current accumulation estimates.  I like to think of it as a snowball rolling down a hill, getting bigger and picking up speed the more it rolls.  It also depends on whether you choose to pull Latest or Classics.  Pulling Classics is like a buy 4 get 1 free sales so it would decrease the speed your 4*s level by about 20% (probably more do that snowball effect I mentioned).  I pulled Classics for a while for exactly this reason (and to try and catch up many of my very far behind 5* Classics) and it was a significant boost to my 4* roster.

Regardless it's an extremely long cycle (and getting longer with each 4* release).  I think I champed my first 4*s about a year into the game.  I'm now 3.9 years in (so 2.9 years in so far to my 4* cycle started) and my roster is still probably at least 3-6 months from first max champ depending on RNG and where I put my BH and at least a year away from getting more than a handful of max champs.  I'm also not chomping at the bit for adding another 78 and growing roster slots for champs and my slot sale price going up to 2000 HP.  *shudder*

That's what I was thinking about at first. Is there a range where your roster averages out? It might be interesting to revisit after a while. As more of the roster is released in the dilution era I feel like my 270-280 bracket will grow the most. New 4*s take extra covers to champ first, so while higher level 4*s earn more rewards, lower level 4*s don't earn at all.

In regards to that, what I'm finding with my roster is that most new 4*s skip from 111 to 280. This is due to a number of factors.  1.  I don't need the new 4* champs and I'm focusing on 5*s.  2.  Saved covers removes the rush to champ it or lose it.  3.  I'll likely never use the new 4* and even dragging it along through it's features spots is usually easy.  4.  I have all non-new 4*s champed and reaching 100% champed is impossible at my current acquisition rate post featured 4*s.

I'm typically waiting until I have 10 saved covers unless I urgently need an influx of resources (or get bored and just want to champ something).  111 just happens to be what I usually get them to as part of their SHIELD training event, these no point in investing ISO into them outside of SHIELD training or champing..  Following this method I've generally had a 2+ million ISO surplus since shortly after saved covers.
