Web links in chat

As often is the case theet is a need to post a discussion thread or web link into MPQ chat for your team mates. This is a pain because you cannot copy or click the link posted? How hard can it be to rectify this and aid communication?

It's been brought up on discord before, the devs have basically said they don't plan on bothering to update the chat because most players are bypassing at this point.  It's in your best bet to get LINE or some other separate chat interface for your alliance.  The chat is real bad and the inability to post links isn't even the largest issue.  It will sometimes not show you existing messages, then have them show up later, doesn't use built in mobile APIs for for things like type suggestions and auto correct.  It's pretty all around bad, but I wouldn't expect it to ever be improved either.
