Increase event MAX charges.

Please increase the maximum charges a node can carry in both RTO and TDW to 5 charges!

I am tired of waiting and waiting for my quality of life improvement. These events have 5 nodes! 5 nodes! Do I need to say it again? Yes, I think I do... 5 nodes!
 
This means I have to play 1 set/round of nodes (1 game per node, total 5 games) in order to stay safe from losing refresh time. 1 set/round of nodes takes about an HOUR to play. This is particularly the case because you cant make a mistake in these events or else "bye~ bye~ perfect score..." and since the card draw RNG, gem match availability RNG, etc, etc is against us - we players have to CONCENTRATE. This isn't your everyday run of the mill match the 1st 3 gems you seem on the board. This requires examining the entire board for all possible matches as well as possible opponent matches that you may give and sometimes even setting up matches for your next turn.

Let me give you my situation yesterday as I started the event. I had real life things going on. I couldn't start the event right away. In fact, I had no time at all. Then at night I started the event a little past midnight. While I was playing my nodes I ran into annoying games that caused my games to get longer.. this included bad card draw RNG, bad gem board layout, bad gem match drops/cascade probabilities, etc. This was irritating because i just wanted to finish my games and SLEEP. In fact, I was falling asleep on the last 2 games of the 1st set/round of node games. BUT, I knew I couldn't just finish 1 set/round of nodes, because if I sleep for 8 hours, then I bought myself almost zero time and will end up having a stressful morning cause I have to somehow quickly and with great focus play an hours worth of games without losing points before i lose time to your idiotic, outdated node refresh system. So after completing my 1st set/round of node games (5 games), I have to go wash my face with some cold water and walk a bit so I can stay awake for my 2nd set/round. I ended up finishing those 2 sets/rounds of games (10 games) after approximately 1 HOUR 30 MINS. I played the last 3 games pacing in my home so I don't fall asleep. I woke up this morning and I already have another refresh that went through.. so there is currently 2 sets/rounds of games, I have to play. That gives me 8-ish hours to play another 1 set/round of nodes (5 games) before I lose time again... since my nodes will max again... Therefore, I have woken up to unnecessary worries/concerns. This is a game; so structure it so that it isn't a job. The existence of this situation should not even be a possibility.

I have painted you this picture because you don't seem to get the point as to WHY we don't like refresh charges, node charges, max node charges and WANT OUR NODE GAMES UPFRONT!

Now before everyone says, playing this game is optional so on and so forth. I want to 1st tell you, I have sorta stopped playing competitively. HoD I played fully, TDW i played a bit past progression, this RTO I wasn't sure so I at least set up so I can play fully but I have a feeling I am not going to. Overall, my interest in this game has significantly dwindled - dangerously so. Since I am playing this game less, my quality of life has definitely improved and I am getting further and furthur from the game it feels - this is like foreshadowing... but I feel I will soon be putting up a post about the reasons why I will be leaving/quitting (maybe just competitive play, shrug).

    charges should be all upfront so people can manage events anyway they want.

    Charges do need improvement indeed. Another issue I bet won't change is the rankings and reward distribution. It's almost perfect or nothing. As soon as you lose a point or game, it's hard to continue the tedious grind. Coalition rewards are not high enough to continue playing for team's sake.

    I hope by next week the game is stable enough to permit safe competitive play. I'm hoping old bugs are not reintroduced even if new bugs make sense.

    Agreed but it seems it is not going to happen... so at the minimum they can increase the max charges to 5. the gap of 4 charges, I have found to be the most relaxing sweet spot. 32 hours + 6 hours till you lose an entire charge. You can skip an entire day (24 hours) if you've got real life issues, get 8 hours of sleep, and still have 6 hours to find time after you've waken up to play your games.

    The only problem is that it still doesn't address the last recharge and different time zones, unless the charges upfront approach is taken, making it the most ideal situation.

    But as with any of my posts, they fall on deaf ears (for the most part).

    And I, too, hope it will be stable yet I am not looking forward to the new update because of the double TG.. 8 games, so 4 more games to play on top of other dailies. This is actually included in my future "Why I am leaving this game discussion." I mean, why weren't the number of games reduced to 2 and 2 so it stays at 4? err... i guess since they upped the crystal rewards (which was a nice gesture and I appreciate it).. we could do 3 and 3 games..

    5 or preferably 6 charges with an extra "fake" recharge at the end of every event that gives no charge (effectively doubling the time of the final charge).

    Speaking of quality of life changes, I woke up at 3 am on Monday, to ensure that my personal score and my coalition's score weren't affected.  I cannot, and do not want to sustain this kind of sleep interruption.  I do not want to wake up on a Monday morning at Stupid O'Clock to finish a game, I am not going bed after 10, or 11 pm to ensure that I get that last node, either. 
    There has to be some compromise for the rest of the world outside America so that we can comfortably finish an event. 
    There's a frustration of sitting down on a Sunday afternoon with some Magic nodes to finish... watching the timer endlessly count down with nothing else to do aside from the one or two nodes that may have stacked up in the current event, and a Training Grounds. And then being forced to wake at an unnatural time on a Monday morning, is unspeakably insulting.

    Either all charges up front (maybe spread over the days, i.e. if an event is 3 days with 9 charges then 3 per day) or the final 2 charges at the "12 hour before end"-mark instead of 1 at 12h and 1 at 6h mark.
