Rising Tensions Event Timing

I live in the pacific time zone, and have kids and a full time job. So, my only real free hours for playing MtGPQ are 6pm to 10pm. The 'Rising Tensions' events seem to last less than 24 hours, from 8pm to mom or something like that. I NEVER have enough time to try and max out rewards in these events. Anyone else have this problem? Maybe the event could last 18 hours or start earlier in the day?
