Split card not applying mana to back side [Investigating]

I've been using split cards since GRN came out and haven't run across this before. No idea what caused it, and it is a deck I've been using since like the beginning of December in almost every red/black/blue Trial of the Planes.

@stikxs Have you noticed this occurring with all Split cards, or just Connive/Concoct?

I've only seen it happen that one time with Connive, and I use that card all the time so it seems to be awfully rare to happen. Unfortunately I don't remember what I was playing against; my decks have been pretty consistent for a while now.
