Nodes of Power has terrible rewards.  I may not even play it.

I think the daily training grounds is more worth my time.

I agree that the rewards are low for an experienced player who has most of the cards already. Currently 150 orbs are a bit low for my taste. (I got all BFZ cards).
However, I also thinks that there should be events targeted at newer players.

everything in MTGPQ should not favour the old and experienced players, because then the influx of new players will most likely dvindle. I would wish that an icon or marker was introduced to signal that an event is focused on newer or less experienced players.

were D3/Octagon to change the prizes for platinum players to 50-100 golds and maybe 20 purples on individual progression, I will not object.

Nodes has been a thing on the schedule that I'm always fully passing on with no guilt.  It's just not worth any effort to me, personally.  And I don't mind that.

The garbage Nodes rewards are an artifact of the general rewards nerf Hibernium did a year and a half ago.

All events then had their rewards dropped severely to go along with the bracket size being reduced to 300 and the event frequency going up.

Unfortunately, Oktagon has re-increased the bracket sizes and re-reduced the event frequency, but have not re-increased the rewards for the events that were nerfed.

I did play it actually.  I got top 100 for joining near the end and playing 5-8 rounds?
