Will there ever be a chance to aquire the previous holiday cards for newer players?  Wether a cash purchase, using gems, in a pack, or from an event?

I'd honestly love this. I'll never use any of them but I started after the first holiday season had already passed and I want that Thopter Pie Network.

Wasn’t it mentioned that previous holiday cards would be available during this years special offers?

I seem to recall something to this effect but I’m not sure.

While I wouldn't say there is never a chance, I currently have no information regarding whether or not there will be another opportunity to acquire past holiday cards.

In my personal opinion, I think they should return at some point, but have different "editions" or "print runs" of them. Everyone can get the card, but if you were there for its initial release, then you get that special 1st edition "tag" on it.

Perfectly reasonable solution. Now just convince them to go and add them in somehow.

The legacy 10x pack sale included cards from all legacy sets. The team included in those packs not only regular KLD cards but also the three "exclusives": Wayward Giant, Cowl Prowler and Ghirapur Orrery. How do I know this? Because I pulled Cowl Prowler.

I wonder if they included the holidays cards (not that this makes those packs the ideal way to grab specific cards really... the chance of getting what you want from there is very very slim...)

I am only missing 2 cards in the entire collection... and those are the holiday cards I missed. @Brigby can you please ask the devs to include those cards (at least for VIP members)? I have already mastered 2549 cards and I intend to master all 4 remaining cards once I get hold of them.
