Loving. The. Orbs.

Took a month off from the game. came back a couple weeks ago with GRN released. Between buying PPs and playing in tensions and other events, I'm averaging nearly one RIX mythic a week. Today I finally crafted Etali. Just want to say thank you for finally loosening the strings on the orbs.
At the same time though, there are SO MANY mythics from legacy sets that I want but can't rationalize the purchase of because standard. Is there a way we could differentiate orbs for legacy vs. non-legacy, and then y'all could be a lot freer with the orbs for legacy and we could purchase those cards without buyers remorse? I know a lot of people on here rightfully talk about the dangers of having too many currencies, not sure if this would fall into that category or not. I suppose it would.

Another solution would be to break out legacy into sets like standard is so the pool is smaller. As it is now, the pool for legacy mythics gets really big really fast and there is too much chance of getting junk...so a compromise of sets vs all legacy cards would be breaking it out by blocks so two sets are pooled together in the legacy selections.3

I'm definitely liking the increased frequency of crafted pulls now! I just wish it wasn't at the expense of some pink income from losing the daily Across Ixalan.1

I feel like the rewards overall are in a much better position than they used to be, especially as mentioned the orbs, but also runes seem to be more plentiful.
I think I'd like to see slightly more gems.
It's a very fine balance though, and all it takes is having a bad event rotation for it to go bad. Especially some of the older events have really bad value for time investment and could use a re-balance. ~2000 runes and a legacy pack is really not worth the effort0 -

At least a sub-category in the Legacy would help give my crafting a little better focus.0 -

A popular argument against splitting legacy into smaller sections was that people will be aiming for the flyingpigoliviaulrich and other crazies which would make legacy very unhealthy. Well that argument may not hold. Standard is getting pretty solid by itself.
To me there is no harm in crafting legacy within its own set and even at reduced price

I'd just be afraid it would increase complaints as more of the super powerful cards (piggy, olivia, deploy, etc) would be easier to obtain and thus see more play.
The difficulty acquiring those cards makes gameplay a bit more balanced. Like Omniscience being practically unobtainable at this point lol0 -
honestly after a certain point those whale cards just dont frighten you as much, i see them now and it is ehh i can handle them most times a few extra rounds of battle not an insta loss, be nice to be able to craft legal sets easier but i am happy i can make a dent in the legacy cards, especially since they are running more legacy events. by the time the new set comes out i will be under 60 left of them from over 80 mythics. they will eventually all become legacy lol
