RtO

Standard is not without it's problems, there are some degenerate cards which feel too much like Legacy power cards, and the lack of sets rotating out with the release of GRN has meant fewer innovations in deck design. But Standard is still preferable to Legacy where decks win so fast that interaction between players is often minimal. (I'd like to see some single Block tournaments!)
I find PvP much more interesting than PvE, or at least more interesting than a PvE event which has been run before at least once, simply due to the variety of cards and decks that you encounter. (Here's a wierd idea, could PvE decks change a little between events?)
I did think the event was a bit short. Each node started with only one charge and the event finished early on Sunday when weekend events often last until Monday. That's not to say that I want my weekend events to last until Monday necessarily, just that the total number of charges that we played was small compared to other events.

If it weren't for the plethora of bounce bugs leading to quite a few people in our group losing matches to freezes (seriously, some of the bugs there are absurd), I would have had absolutely no problem with this event.
RTO is fun nowadays. The only complaint for me is the 3 matches limit - it can still make weekends stressful. If you upped the limit to 4 I would have absolutely no problems. But because we have 5 nodes, it's very difficult to stay on track even with all charges burned. (I played my matches yesterday at 11 AM, then I had a full day... during the evening I was super exhausted, but I had to pick up at least a round, since this morning at 6 AM it was going to be full)
As for the 2 days aspect... YES PLEASE! I would actually be much happier to see most events be only 2 days. Heck, if it makes other people feel better, it opens more room for more events
N.B.: FIVE nodes is still super exhausting for me! But then again, I am getting old in this game, I had to already take a break so maybe that's just me.1 -

I don't like the idea of changing PvE decks. Those decks are often created with a specific flavor and theme, which we shouldn't deny newer players. By the way, they changed the PvE deck of the final encounter in a World Reborn.
This event is a five-node event and in my opinion should always start with 1 charge on each node. For a lot of people, depending on their timezone, they will start the event with two charges on each node, because the event starts when they are asleep or late at night. For people like you, there was another event active (Duel Decks), so you should have had enough time to play this game :-)
Furthermore, I'm a big fan of ending events on Sunday, because a lot of people can't play on Monday due to work, which would be a pity for themselves and for the coalition they are part of.

RTO would have been a lot of fun to play if it had not been riddled with soft freezes. The token replacing soft lock is way too easy to trigger.5

My problem is still with timing... For some of us (I _think_ it's not the majority, but it's still a sizable amount, maybe 30/70%?) we actually have less time to play on the weekend than during the week. So the max of 3 charges is a huge detriment.
I think I lost charges from things being full? But I'm not even sure...
It would help to have max charges listed on the page and the timer to be shown even when there are charges left...
Like:
2/3
Instead of just 2. A very minor coding change with a huge upside.
Adding the timer might be more frustrating to get right with spacing and things, but all the information is still there already.
These two things would help people know what's going on.0 -
The thing is that players want to hit second bracket. With no max full charges stored I assume that there would be a huge spike of joining players in the last hours of event.
The simplest solution would be to create additional bracket when there are 1/2 bracket full and then join newcomers randomly in first and second bracket (maybe with some additional weight modifiers). Or create x brackets on the beginning (based on the past participation statistics) and then randomly assign.
Either way:
No max charges but with modified event structure1 -

Gives people more than 24 hours, such that they can just take an entire day off and do things and then catch up. I am willing to settle at 4 max charges but won't be happy about it.I also have a hard time with 5 nodes.1 -
