in MtGPQ General Discussion
Am I missing something? Upon casting I'm triggered to discard (before drawing) am not allowed access to my hand and have to sac a creature for the game not to soft lock. 

I hope I am just missing something, but would appreciate any help.

    I haven't tried this card yet, are you saying that if there are no critters in the field (no creatures to target), then the game soft-locks?

    I'm  saying it doesn't allow me to discard a card it makes me sacrifice a creature and since it's a crackling drake deck and is one of the few creatures I run in the deck I have to sacrifice it as it does not allow me access to my hand to discard.

    The deck definitely works I can post screenshots if not believed but I had a 69/69 drake and a Jhessian thief using Broken Jace's ultimate with surveil/sizzle/genius

    Is it making you sacrifice, or making you target your creature to do 4 damage?

    Regardless, I'm confused by your thinking that you should be able to view your hand and choose the card you discard after Hypothesizzle is cast. That isn't how discard works in PQ. You do have some limited control, in that it discards the last card in hand. Thus, before you cast Hypothesizzle, make sure the card you want to discard is in the bottom slot in your hand.

     Honestly I play too much arena and tabletop and kind of forgot how discard works in mtgpq. Something is still funny with the card, sometimes when I select not now the card just disappears and does not even function as a cantrip which is sometimes what it's used for in this deck obviously sub-optimally. I'm really struggling with sinking cash into this game with how buggy it is and how my support tickets are not ever answered.

    I just pulled Crackling Drake and will have to give this a try.
    "Broken Jace" is Jace II, Unraveler of Secrets I assume?
    Guilty pleasure: I like to chase card bugs...obviously.

    He's so versatile because if the first and obviously the ultimate. I've NEVER poped and ultimate with the unraveled and become unraveled myself. Cast two glimmers, and a hypothesizzle in a sizable drake and reinforced niv and ended up alpha striking for 60+ in a single swing.

    I was playing surveil with him and it was heaps of fun but it was probably _slow_ comparatively!
