Brigby While I appreciate you revived forum contests, will all future contests be simple guessing games? The forum format really lends itself for 'higher quality' things too, like art/photoshop contests, short stories, 'invent a power' (or character), stuff like that. Would really like to see it be kicked up a notch :).
It's likely that the majority of the contests will be simple guessing games with 'higher quality' contests strewn here and there, especially for special occasions.

There are a few reasons for this:
    1. Literally everyone can participate in a simple guessing contest. We definitely want to create opportunities to highlight the many talented individuals in our community, with various creative competitions, but we also know that these are very targeted and may not appeal to everyone's interests or skills. With a simple guessing game though, everyone is able to join in on the fun!
    2. More complex contests require more set-up time. Guessing games are quick and easy to setup and execute. They don't require many rules, because choosing winners is easy: either you're close to the number or not. With contests revolving around creative fields , choosing a winner becomes more subjective, therefore it takes time to flesh out the rules and details to make sure a winner is chosen fairly. (This also includes the time it takes to complete whatever voting process is implemented)
    3. We want higher effort contests to yield higher value prizes. Simple contests yield simple prizes, but that also means we can do it frequently. With high effort contests like art/story competitions, we want to award winners a prize of proportionate value; this may be digital, physical, or both!
