Hostagetaker's creature goes to the board instead of the hand [Fixed in 3.0]

I ran into this the first time when my opponent played hostagetaker and my dino goes directly to the board instead of his hand.
After that I build a kiora deck to reproduce this. It is reproduceable.
Battlelog says (translated from german):

  • Hostagetake was cast
  • something was destroyed
  • Hostagetaker was triggerd

Screenshots of the battlelog and the board are available.

@naabaldan The team is aware of the issue with Hostage Taker placing cards directly into play. I'll go ahead and add this to the bug list.

I like to add that it takes also flipped cards to hand like ulrich with no cost to cast. Screenshot available.

Second addition: the creature only wents to the board if the players has no creatures on the board before casting hostagetaker otherwise it goes to the hand aas intended

I posted before, but I've found that with Liliana, Death's Majesty, Hostage Taker will always place the stolen creature into play when you target it with her first loyalty ability.

came here to find out about flipped werewolves... I used Hostage Taker on Ulrich flipped. I exiled it from my hand because I was afraid it would cause a freeze.
