Get rid of node refresh

The thing that bothers me is that we’ve had node refreshes in this game forever and the most complained about thing in this game is event end times and still nothing is done. Get rid of refreshes for all events. For the Halloween event it should have had 15 charges no refresh. Then you can complete them over the course of the event run. All events should be done this way. Get rid of Boss health which is just a meter that means nothing. Clean these events up and make people happy.

Yep, node refresh and end time schedules can be a real pain.
For example, the high profile event Avacyn's Madness had its final refresh at 1am and ended at 7am local time for me.  As I wanted to represent my high-profile coalition (and have a shot at those top-tier rewards), I had to make the choice of staying awake until 2+am or waking up at 6am if I were to try to complete those nodes.
My current schedule allowed me to stay up until 2am on a Sunday night, but this is not helpful to those who have strict weekday work schedules.

The problem with this is that most apps track login frequency as a measure of "success". So by giving us every charge up front, they open the door to people blasting through all of their charges and then not logging back in until it's time to collect their prizes or start up some other event. Spreading out the charges gives them a way to artificially increase the login rate around the player base, because people like you and I (yes, I would love to have all charges up front) are forced to open the app up more than we probably would if left to our own devices.

If this game tracked login frequency as a measure of success, they'd give us more to do Monday through Friday beyond logging in once to clear Training Grounds and again to clear AXLN/TotP a few hours later.

A single 3 day PvE event that can be cleared during one of those logins doesn't increase login frequency either.

I can see this. But reducing accessibility through this method will only increase attrition over time, i.e. players will realize the futility in trying to play since it interferes with real life. The question becomes whats more important? More frequent logins or a larger customer base (with the latter also being more satisfied and happy).

Also in this day and age of short attention spans and the increase in  instant gratification needs, it would seem like having nodes upfront will work in their favor here. (And another reason to get rid of the potions or increase the quantity from 3)

Also in this day and age where freedom of choice is valued, it would make sense that we shouldnt be suppressed by node charges, timers, etc.

Just a thought but the game is old and it needs to catch up to current trends, changes, and market values; otherwise, the ship will sink. The funny thing is, the app just needs to create a positive, rewarding experience, yet it fails on so many levels. The base concept or idea in the app is already good but there are too many inconvienent issues (not just bugs) that greatly hinder player retention and new player acquisition

They would only care about the login frequency if they were looking to sell ads. If I login and play all of my nodes at once let’s say it takes me 6-8hours. Why does it matter if that’s spread out over 2 to 3 days? I’m playing the same amount of time. I would still login to get my free pack and mess around with the daily events.

I hate logging in and seeing 10 charges on a node all at once, it's too much pressure and I feel like logging out and running away.
I totally acknowledge the problem though... I'd like it more the other way around, no cap on maximum charges instead.

No cap on maximum charge is also a good solution. They should take either one and implement it. It would make people have a better gaming experience.

12 hour charge rate and more starting charges to account for the fewer charges might be a workaround for now (thinking within the system)

Something needs to be done especially with some of the new events. Nodes that refresh when most of the US is asleep and then ending during that same period is costing me rewards tiers. I wake up at 6am with the event ended and I'm knocked down a tier or two. I'm sure that there is no perfect time but perhaps refresh nodes and then give a longer period to use up the last node or something.

I like the no nodes idea as well but for reasons mentioned above I'm not sure that will happen.

It's just free stuff but I certainly would like the opportunity to compete. The nodes, the bugs, the nonsense like Sphinx is costing be my free stuff and it makes me ANGRY!!!!!

I think that refresh is part of the strategy of events and I don't want to see it abolished. I would like to see changes to refresh however, like 24 hour refreshes or the last refresh being extended to 12 or 16 hours.
