Avacyn's Judgment cheat targetting by AI [Investigating]

I noticed quite a strange behaviour with Avacyn's Judgment being cast by my opponent in unnatural steps. Let me explain:

1) I had a reinforced Relentless Dead on the board (therefore a 4/4)
2) My opponent cast Avacyn's Judgment targetting Relentless Dead twice.
3) Relentless Dead died due to lethal damage, then due to its ability returned to the battlefield
4) The opponent targetted the returned Relentless Dead as a third target of Avacyn's Judgment, killing it once again.

All legal targets should be chosen prior to a spell or ability resolving. In this case, it happened in the middle of a resolution.

Not sure if this is an already known/old bug, but it can definitely be problematic.

Perhaps it has worked like that because when casting Avacyn's Judgment  IA has selected three times your Relentless Dead (not just twice) and as after the first 2 it returned it was able to kill it again, though it should not be.

That would be wrong either way, because the first a creature going to the graveyard returns to the battlefield as a different creature instance anyway. But there was a delay between the moment Relentless Dead returned to the battlefield and it being targeted again, giving me the impression the AI was "selecting targets" (might be wrong of course)
    Either way it's a problem.

Hmm, that does sound a bit odd. I'll relay this to the team for review to confirm if this is the intended behavior.
