They had to put (shudder) Arch Angel and (shudder and shrivel) Gambit alongside Cable?

    Also, one yellow match fortifies Gambit's repeater, and there's some charge tile interaction there as well.

    Yeah, Cable and Gambit has some interesting combo potential - Cable can Charge green tiles, then Gambit can harvest it with his red. Gambit was Always better when someone else could put out charged tiles so he didn't have to waste the first use of Aces and Eights.

    Besides, OML and Phoenix were just featured in Kitty's release vault so I am happy they did not reprise them. There aren't really any other X-men from the fivestar tier to pick, so if you wanted a thematic vault this was pretty much the best possible choice.
