BETA walkers out of the vault

@Brigby what gives?  The Beta event walkers were in the vault for crystal purchase, but are now missing.

Does this mean they were not supposed to be there in the first place?  Or are they being removed based on complaints from people not in the Beta test?  Or is there some other reason?

I have not seen any posts, emails, or notifications regarding this, and am very confused.

They are only available when the event is live. This was mentioned somewhere on the forums or in the blog post about the event. Anyway, if you still want them, they should be available when the beta runs again this weekend.

    What @GrizzoMtGPQ said.

    From the Duel Deck Blog:

    Event PWs
    • These are special exclusive planeswalkers that can only be acquired during the event.

question: does that mean if Octagon decides to stop running the event, that these will become unobtainable planeswalkers?? :o

I'd really like to know if they'll ever become available in the standard vault rotation. Just like the way exclusive cards eventually become craftable.

pretty sure I'm going to break down and get nissa on the next go … encountering her in the wild has convinced me that even though she is a mono green... she is a very effective mono green. much like T3 is for blue. strong enough to stand almost toe to toe with a dual/triple colored walker

I feel the same.  She's the one I was looking for when I made this post lol

Here's some walkers only available to beta players that you get to play against on live. Neat!

Nissa is currently the best mono walker they have put out. I’d even go so far as to say she has an edge over Koth.

I dunno about the best.  But I haven't gotten to play with her that much yet (chose Eldrazi sadly).

And I still think Vivien has the chance to be the best mono color out there (+5 green!), if we ever get her that is.

N4 is fantastic...  Has a lot of the aspects of Kiora - first fixes mana, second fixes draw and third creates a formidable creature (granted, not one to unseat a 32/32 octoblocker)…  The tokens from her first and second are just gravy...

Vivien is likely going to come out some time during the Guilds of Ravnica set release, mostly because there are only two walkers in that set, where normally sets have 3-4 of them. So in order to keep the cash flowing, they likely spaced out the M19 walkers more, and left the most hyped one for last.
