Best 3* to compliment OBW and 3/5/5 Patch

Hi all,

Would like some advice on which 3* to team up with the two characters mentioned in the subject in the current meta, factoring in impending C.Mags and Spidey nerf.

Willing to consider respec on Patch.

    My first choice would be a Hood, he will cover yellow and black active ability and quite annoying on defense. However your team will be very squishy. Another decent 3 star is Black Panther. The punisher is not so bad either but it mean you wont have an active yellow ability.

    But the decision would also base on what you have in your roster.

    IM40 is a solid choice, since Patch's red depends on maximizing the number of colors he tanks. So, IM40 tanks some damage for Patch while he's active, but simply goes away after converting yellow AP into useful AP with Recharge, paving the way for maximum TBTI.

    If you're open to deemphasizing TBTI via respec, Patch + Hulk is a combo that's a lot of fun. As Justdangit mentions, BP is good, too, since the Berserker Rage of the Panther combo is much crazy, so death.

    I like Hood (Hood+OBW is possibly the most annoying **** in the game to deal with), but the classic combo is, of course, C.Mags + Wolvie. Berzerker Rage, then spam Magnetic Projectile for over 1k damage per 2 red AP.

    If you read he said impending the cmag nerf. There is not much point in investing in C.Mag now when he is going to be nerf in a few week.

    Interesting. I have IM40 and currently using him.

    How does the Hulk combo look like?
