Naturalize and reinforcements [Investigating]

Hi All,

I noticed that the spell Naturalize ( green uncommon. M19)  reacts to a reinforced creature as if the creature was buffed.

As per the spell's description  the Naturalize removes all buffs from the oponents first creature. If there is no buff to remove it will destroy one of your opponents supports.

I faced the following situation:

Storymode Origins chapter 3 part 2 challenge 9  Warhorn

AI has Mizzium Meddler out with a buff and at least one support.
I cast naturalize and the buff dissappears.
Next turn the AI cascades and casts two more Mizzium Meddlers, reinforcing the first

Two turns later I cast another Naturalize which targets the reinforced  Meddler with zero effect, i.e. the target retains 2 reinforcements and remains a 12/21 creature.

So the spell is cast, targets a non buffed creature (recognizing a reinforced creature as buffed) instead of targeting the one support the AI has out ( Thopter Spy Network).

This occurred twice more in the same match.

Is this as designed or a Bug

Interesting. I'll reach out to the team and see if they can provide some insight into how this card is functioning.
