Prodigious Growth does not stack in some cases [Fixed in 3.1]

I've run into an odd case where Prodigious Growth does not stack in some circumstances. I think it's based on how it enters your hand: when I draw more than one copy, it seems to work fine, even if I cast both copies on the same creature. But if I use Muldrotha's ability to bring it back from the graveyard after it was cast once and try to cast it on the same creature a second time, it doesn't seem to do anything. I'm not sure if there are other means of bringing it back that might cause the same issue to test it out...

I had seen similar behavior with Knight's Pledge a month ago, but that topic got buried here on the forums:
https://forums.d3go.com/discussion/74828/knights-pledge-buffs-do-not-stack#latest
I don't recall if that one failed on multiple copies being cast, or if it was the same card being cast multiple times. The only screenshot I have from that incident shows a Muldrotha in play, so I was likely digging it back up that way at the time.
There are other cards besides Muldrotha to dig spells out of the graveyard, this behavior might warrant testing with some of those:
Flood of Recollection
Seasons Past
Wildest Dreams
Recolect
The Mirari Conjecture
Harness the Storm
Salvager of Secrets
Tiana, Ship's Caretaker (will work because both Prodigious Growth and Knight's Pledge are Auras)
There may be others.
I'm pretty sure the deck I was testing had Muldrotha and Tiana, because I had also picked up Druid of Horns at the time and was testing it with repeating Auras.0 -
Interesting test results:
Cast Prodigious Growth on Radha once, then pulled it back with Recollect. Played it again on Radha, but nothing happened.
Radha dies, cast Tiana. Tiana pulls Prodigious back with her ability, and I cast that copy on Tiana. This time it works, but it's only the first cast on Tiana. She pulls it back again and I'm able to cast it a fourth time (not sure how I managed to keep the match going this long) but this copy it doesn't stack when I cast it on Tiana. Match ended before I could try it a fifth time to see if the graveyard copy would cast on another creature.
Summary:
Pulling back from graveyard seems to be ok IF it's the first cast on a given creature. But if it comes back from the graveyard, it won't stack if cast on the same creature a second+ time.2 -
I've relayed this to the team, and they have confirmed that there does appear to be an issue with cards such as Prodigious Growth and Knight's Pledge being used again on the same creature after being returned from the Graveyard. I'll go ahead and add this to the bug list.1
