No more hand limit?

I already had some games in which I suddenly had more than 6 cards in hand (7 instead). A friend showed me a screen in which he even had 9 cards in hand. Is this a bug or are we missing something?

    Not sure if it is a bug, but it happens with Chaos Wand, and apparently sometimes with the bounce creature from M19 (or DOM, I can't remember).  It used to happen with other fetch cards, but it was slowly phased out.

    Yes, it has always been possible and still is to get more than 6 card. Not sure they've ever changed it

    I’ve seen a video where someone had hundreds of cards in their hand.

    Several cards have had such bugs, then gotten changed so they don't. I think Etali was the only one that allowed you to get arbitrarily many cards of any sort. Chaos Wand will probably be changed sooner or later as well.
