@Brigby in the July/August Q&A we were promised a "return" to timely answers to monthly Q&A. Here we are, a full week into September, and we don't even have an open thread to ask the next set of questions. Can you please open one so that we can put out a new set of questions?

Also would it be possible to get some heads up about Ravinica?

I noticed that we got to craft M19 right on time. Is that the new norm? Will it be 30 days after the set releases from now on?

    Timely answers is different from timely questions, so no promise broken there... yet.

    Not sure what they can tell. Ravnica isn't on the WotC website either, other than a date of release.

    They did say they were caught up after DOM's release, so M19 being released on time makes sense. It goes to reason that they would likely be on schedule for the next one.

    Yeah they're just releasing Guild of Ravnica cards (and less than 30% so far, not including new land art), so I'd expect at least a 1 week delay upon Prerelease Night before there's even talk of this set in mtgpq.

    Prerelease for Ravnica is September 29th.  Based on past sets we'll get it here 2-4 weeks later, and won't get any information until the day before.

    Indeed, and expect to see a massive crystal sale on every other set the week before the surprise release, and no obtainable-via-gameplay Ravnica packs until December.
