Freeze: accessing game menu

Okay, freeze thread number 125,658.

the game also can freeze if you open the menu during your attack. This time not like usual with the micro menu, but the menu opened properly.. And none of the buttons worked anymore. The back button of my mobile brought up the exit game screen.. Buttons were irresponsive as well.

To clarify, is this happening specifically when you attempt to open the menu during your own attack animations?

It doesn't happen regularly - just one or two times. I think I tried to open the menu exactly at the moment the attack phase begun! The menu popped up the moment x first creature attacked. It might have as well another trigger that I wasn't able to make out, but the behavior differs from my usual "every day freezes"

The game freezing when opening the menu is a really common and really old bug, to the point that we just advise new players to avoid opening the menu at all while playing.

If the issue is the game suddenly not responding to input, I can confirm it happens to me fairly frequently when I need to close a pop-up and tap out of it too quickly (the "you have lost connection" one or the card mastery one after a match are the 2 biggest offenders)

Although

 I agree with 100% of what you said (I faced every described freeze multiple times), this one specific freeze behaved differently.

@Tombstone since I now can be sure the Infos get forwarded, I'll make sure to gather as many details as possible the next times around.
