I don't find the game to be better or worse than usual, and if anything the recent nerf to Daken makes PvE quite a bit more enjoyable compared to before. PvP is far more ugly than usual, but hopefully that's attributed to season 1 ending. Having like top 20 of an event all shielded shouldn't be normal.0

It's good for them even in the long run, but it's terrible for the players. If there's some kind of fear index for MPQ we're probably at the 'will backstab alliance member for 35 points' mark right now.
But it's not like they're offering anything especially awesome that'd warrant this kind of fear. Well, this event has Daken at 1100 and lazy Thor as prizes, but I was seeing similar behavior when the prize was Ragnarok and the featured character was Loki.0 -

exactly. What was already bad with brackets of doom has just gotten worse. Slobofix at the top of my bracket with 1,521. Kakko second with 1,508. How much does anyone want to bet they are well over 1,600 by the time this is over.
Meanwhile, at least the top 20 is shielded. I'm lucky to by in 9th right now with 1020. And if I unshield for longer than one match, that's easy -60 to -150 waiting to happen.0 -
