PvP playing style emulation

PvP is a misnomer. When I see your name as a potential opponent and decide to do battle, I'm not playing you. Instead I'm playing the AI using your characters. And when you play me you aren't playing me, you're playing the AI doing its own thing with my characters. I tell you three times, I would make a T or L to get 5 and the extra go.

So, could a way be introduced for the AI to learn our gameplay style, or at least give it a set of priorities based on the team and what we look to do when we have a specific combination?

Dragons Age let the player configure up to 20 triggers per character.

Galactic Civilizations (2, I think it was) gave you the option of sending your completed games back to the publisher so that the AI could be improved.

Those are two possibilities for making the AI emulate our gameplay. There must be others. Can it be considered?
