Knight's Pledge buffs do not stack

Knight's Pledge (common, M19) states "Target creature gets +2/+2."  
When this card is cast multiple times on the same creature, it only gives the +2/+2 once.  Subsequent castings do not change the creature's power or toughness.  
The buff remains persistent past the end of the round (as it should).
