The Dragon War - Redesigned

The Dragon War could have been, and should still be, so much more than just another generic 5 node PvP event that lasts 3 days. The rewards are nice and all but spice things up.
So I propose a redesign of the event! Something that will truly be different from all the other generic PvP Events we have, whether they are 5 nodes or 3.
You don't play as any Planeswalkers!
Option 1 - Drastically Different
You choose 1 of the 5 Elder Dragons. That is your "Planeswalker". That Dragon's colors are the colors you have to choose from when building your deck. The infinite support currently present on that Dragon's node instead becomes your loyalty abilities.
In this sense, the cards you utilize in the deck are essentially your "armies" as you lead them into war with the other Elder Dragons.
Now the event itself becomes a 4 node PvP Event where you face the decks of the other Elder Dragons with your Elder Dragon. You can run a different deck for each node obviously but each one is done so as the Elder Dragon of your choice.
Then... add a health bar. Each Dragon, including your own, gets a health bar. Each team must successfully defeat the other 4. Give an additional level of rewards out based on where your Dragon ended up. Did your dragon win the war and emerge victorious? Was it the first to fall? Everyone still gets rewards from it but of course, the last dragon team standing gets more.
Option 2 - Less Drastically Different
All of the above, except the health bar portion.
Option 3 - Ever So Slightly Different
Same idea as the first option with the Dragons instead of Planeswalkers, but keep it to 5 nodes and you can play each of the Elder Dragons. This may come across as the more appealing option to some people but it will basically be the same thing we have now with a minor twist and will become just as boring, just as quickly.

I take menu 1 with extra fries. That one would actually fit the event description and flavor0

All we gotta do is get them to design a new game that functions differently than this one and we're in business. I'd play it . We have 2 playable versions of one elder dragon. He's the only one that figured out that pesky planeswalking stuff0

I would like anything that doesn't force me to play at any specific time and, possibly, a little shorter. Your ideas are great though0
