"Vivien is a guardian and guide from the once forested plane of Skalla, ravaged by the arrival of Nicol Bolas. Vivien's mentor imbued her arkbow with invocations in a desperate attempt to repel the dragon. As the woodland burned, her Planeswalker spark ignited and she became a guide to the forests and animals of the Multiverse, using her arkbow's invocations to her defense."

Ability 1: Arkbow's Invocations - Cost 9
Level 1 - Pick one of the first 2 land or creature cards from your library. Fetch that card.
Level 2 - Pick one of the first 2 land or creature cards from your library. Fetch that card and give it half of its mana.
Level 3 - Pick one of the first 3 land or creature cards from your library. Fetch that card and give it half of its mana.
Level 4 - Pick one of the first 3 land or creature cards from your library. Fetch that card and give it half of its mana, rounded up.

Ability 2: Nature's Purification - Cost 12
Level 1 - Destroy target creature with Flying.
Level 2 - Destroy target creature with Flying. If you can't, destroy an opponent's Enchantment.
Level 3 - Destroy target creature with Flying. If you can't, destroy an opponent's Enchantment. If you can't, destroy an opponent's Artifact.
Level 4 - Destroy target creature with Flying. If you can't, destroy an opponent's Enchantment. If you can't, destroy an opponent's Artifact. If you can't, draw 2 cards.

Ability 3: Skalla's Vengeance - Cost 21
Level 1 - All your creatures get +4/+4.
Level 2 - All your creatures get +4/+4 and Trample.
Level 3 - All your creatures get +6/+6, Prevent Damage and Trample.
Level 4 - All your creatures get +6/+6, Berserker, Trample and Prevent Damage.

    The way I read it her first ability gives half mana to the fetched card at level three and half mana rounded up at level 4. So does that mean the difference between level 3 and level 4 arkbows invocations is that level 4 occasionally adds 1 more mana to the card? That seems kind of... lame.

    You read it correctly, and yep, it is kind of lame. Fortunately her abilities, overall, are so good that she can afford a lame upgrade there.

    Been toying around with this standard deck in tg.  Once I got it to this current set of cards, perfect 8 for 8.

    Deck has many was to get things out.  CtD fetches and coverts gems.  Vi brings on to the field and destroys opponent creature.  Once has sun Avatar can bring out any dino for free.  At that point primal Hunger is free.  Creature removal has plenty.  With rabid Bite, VI and deathsprout.  Deathsprout dies double duty by pulling out BP.  Put compass into stall for time.  Zacama helps with life, destroys enchantment, or does 3 damage. 

    Any thoughts on improving in standard format.
