When Hixus is in play and popped, if a creature is disabled with Aj1’s first ability, it doesn’t enable.

Doesnt enable ever, or just the one turn.  Because I think they changed that on purpose to work better with Cast Out

Aj1 only disables for one turn so I’m not sure what you’re asking.

I think they finally fixed it to what it always should have been, but haven't fixed the wording, which should be akin to:

"....disable that creature until Hixus leaves play"

I'm not positive what I was asking either.  Early morning posting most likely.

I am still assuming that is a result of how they changed Hixus to play better with Cast Out, though.  You could also see if spells that disable like Alchemist's Vial and Sleep also don't un-disable when Hixus is popped to be sure.

I played AJ1 and had Hixus in my deck earlier tonight in TotP.  I had it on the board but it did not disable Olivia or any creatures that came after her.  It was essentially worthless.

Did the creatures attack? I'm only asking because it's correct that Hixus doesn't disable straight away. The creatures will only be disabled after they attacked you.

No, but that doesn't matter. Hixus is supposed to undo all disable effects when it pops.

Yes, Olivia attacked as I didn't have anything else in the deck to disable her.  The next turn Hixus was still on the board (hadn't been popped in between) while the AI summoned another 2 creatures to go with her.  All 3 attacked and remained enabled as if Hixus didn't exist.
