Extra Swaps not being credited (permanent support changing possibly the issue)

First time I saw this happen I assumed I just didn't see something right, but twice now I've had a cascade go and at some point in the cascade I matched 5 gems but at the end I didn't get the extra swap. Both times I've seen this, at least one of the matches in the cascade has involved the new permanent supports that change color after matching. Extra swaps not involving those supports seems to be working correctly.

    I wonder if this is because gem-changing during a cascade (Path to Discovery and Legion's Landing flip side's activated gems is how I've done it) makes match-5s afterwards not count? It's a fair rule in other cases, but if the invincible supports count as a player activated gem change, that could cause what you've seen. I agree it shouldn't work that way.

    With the permanent supports... The colour change is a good idea BUT is it possible to change it to a colour that guarantees it doesn't rematch straight away? (It should be since there can be 4 gems next to it, and there are 6 options including loyalty, so you should be able to pick a random colour that will absolutely not cause a match.)

    I did have another match last night where a permanent support was involved in a cascade to a 5 match, and the extra swap did trigger that time. I believe the only difference that time was that the support for Koth's #3 was also in there and triggering during the cascade (double triggering too, as supports are doing now...)

    Just saw this happen again for Greg in TDW left node. Nahiri made a white match involving a permanent support and the cascade matched 5 blue in a T shape but no extra swap happened.

    I have matched 6 gems with permanent support and i get extra swap.
    Position like this

    oooooooo
    oooxxxooo
    oooxPxooo
    oooooooo

    o = random
    x = red
    P = permanent red gem

    Might be matches after, not the match including the support.

    I got the extra swap when i manually matched a 5+ match that included the perm support.

    But if i match 3 or whatever and somehow cascade into a 5 match that includes the perm support it doesnt trigger.

    Limited sample size but thats what i noticed.

    Had this happen today on Greg's turn in my Rising Tensions node 2 match.

    This still happens in the new 3.3 update with RNA. Just had a match (Rising Tensions) where Greg had a match cascade where the permanent support was either part of the initial swap or the first match to follow that, and then cascaded into a T-shape match of 7 gems, but never got the extra swap. @Tombstone
