Why does it need to cover the entire weekend though? They could make it two days in a way that ensures it covers Saturday worldwide, then put in some non-coalition event right after for Sunday/Monday-Tuesdayish (depending on time zone).

I hate PvP. I loved this event. I haven’t fully wrapped my head around it — so many moving parts, but I think I will enjoy playing it many times.

If some people get 2 days of weekend and some people get 1 day of weekend for the same event... Well, with how people _already_ complain about things being rigged in various different ways and directions at the top. It would skew things so only certain timezones could get perfect without ignoring sleep or other things.

Or you can safely have a _1_ day event that fits entirely within the weekend worldwide but that messes up the "things to do" brigade and it actually increases pressure because you CAN'T manage your time or spread things out at all.

    Timezones are nasty. Grin.

I don't think I'm in the "right" time zone, but no matter what we need two changes:
    - a reduced amount of matches per event. Let's say 30 seems were people are happy
    - a longer buffer at the end of the event to let people complete
Is this correct @Kinesia? If you and I agree, we should cover a large portion of the forum, shouldn't we?
    ;-)

Have people complained about how weekend events start on Friday? (Besides the ones with only eight hours before you max out node charges, those would be annoying no matter what, and they fixed them already.) My idea would make it a Friday-Saturday or Saturday-Sunday event depending on timezone, I don't think that's unreasonable, and much better than having charges on Monday.

I would completely agree with you if there weren't people asking for longer events in order to be able to complete them. Fine for me for the event to extend over three days, but, please, leave a buffer of time at the end, where no charges are added, just for players to be able to complete the event no matters of the time zone. Please, this would save a lot of rants from many of us
