Suggestion: Covers with additional overlays

Lately some of the covers have been given temporary new look. Some of overlays are really cool.
I was thinking that would be nice if these new overlays would be added permanently and we would choose (in a new separate screen for each cover) what version will be visible on the rooster.
The change or return to the old look would be possible at any moment, without any restrictions
