Old Cards and Flash

@Brigby are there any plans to change older cards that have flash in paper to have it in MTGPQ?

The biggest example I can think of is Raff, since in paper he gives all of your historic cards flash (which is significantly better than just copying Jhoira's Familiar and reducing the cost).

There are plenty of other creatures and supports that probably would function better as instants.  Will they be changed to reflect the new mechanic, or will Flash only be on new cards going forward?

Flash on creatures like Raff would serve a similar function in here as in paper.  Specifically in allowing one to dodge removal and allow at least one full turn/activates/triggers with non-hasted creatures.

This exactly. Flash is a short way of saying "one turn's worth of hexproof and and haste, plus the upside of shenanigans."

Flash could also have interesting applications on nodes with "take x or less damage" against haste creatures. They wouldn't be such a big deal anymore with murder in your hand.
