    Red.
I honestly can’t believe someone said Red.
I choose red because is instantaneous and fast kill. It got some of the best mythic in standard right now that other colors borrow from. Red does need need as much setup as blue or other colors. You cant go wrong with Etali, Verix, huf, hof, avarice, ID and cheap support removal. This is not including other multi colored mythic.
Gems changers supports from ixln and rix greatly boost red's power.
The only thing weak about red is lack of viable PWs. Even Jaya is not really top tier

    Blue.
The answer is Blue, though Green is a respectable second.  In Standard alone, you have Azor, Muldrotha, Jodah, Tishana, Alhammarret, Harbinger, Hostage Taker, Unesh, RR, StV, Spell Swindle, Imaginary Threats, Talent, Reason, Frog, TSN, Azcanta, In Bolas's Clutches, Frog, and various targeted bounce spells.  When you turn to legacy it gets even nuttier.

    White.
I like white because it retained its identity the most out of all the other colors when compared to MTGPQ.
White has the hardest time permanently dealing with creatures, white has the worst card draw opportunities. On the other hand it has a lot of creature-centric fun decks, and it's weird I speak of this as a control player at heart... hmm... But yeah, white is the truest color in MTGPQ, with the least bends and breaks!

In contrast to it, red is the closest to its paper identity, followed by black, green and blue.
    - Red has card draw issues and permanent creature removal. The only complaint about it is that since there is no difference between enchantment and artifact supports really, red gets to deal with enchantments. That's red's classic weakness in paper magic.
    - Green lacks direct creature removal. On the other hand it has insane card draw thanks to cards like Reason//Believe, Nissa's Revelation etc. which should be UW and mono blue.
    - Black can't deal with supports, and since tutoring is not such a big thing in MTGPQ, it lacks in black too. Somehow it feels less punishing but also less big rewarding (Lich's Mastery kind of gets closer to the black philosophy). I would say black is much more underpowered when compared to the other colors in an MTGPQ vs. MTG hierarchy.
    - Blue... nevermind. Best card draw, best ramp, freebies, cheapest removal, global one-sided wipe... the only thing it lacks in theory is big scary threats... eeeexcept it doesn't need them anyway. It's even more ridiculous than in paper magic.

(Note that my remarks here are from an MTG color pie fan's perspective... I definitely enjoy playing OP blue decks while also challenging myself to make mono-red work)
