HFH skipping 2nd color covers?

The HFH preview for Kingpin's Crash is up and it will be his yellow - his third ability. HFH covers have all been the first color up to this point and there has been a fair amount of discussion on the forum wondering if/when this would change.

Will the third color be the norm going forward or is this an aberration?

    Now XFW has taken the spot previously occupied by Kingpin, but like Fisk, it is his yellow cover, which is his third ability.

    Hm, this is making me think that XFW is popping up as an unintended side-effect of an effort to change the HFH offer to a different cover.
