When roster space is limited, what to do with 3* covers?

Hi folks,

I just started, but...

Very quick q, which I am sure has been addressed a gazillion times (but search functionality yielded nothing), what to do with newly acquired, but high quality 3* covers.

I am still working on getting my 1* guys to 30-40 range, and got three 3* covers:

Black Widow (grey)
Loki
Black Panther

I am out of roster space (13/13). I realize that it will be a very long while until I can use them. Fwiw, Panther is not claimed and will expire in 6 days.
My 2* list is:

C. Storm
Ares
Daken
Cap
Magneto
OBW

You say you have 13 slots and 6 2*s. Is BP the only listed cover not already in your roster? If so, chuck Loki, recruit BP. Loki is just terrible.

More generally, you really only need 3-4 1*s. IM35 + MStorm + MBW is probably the best core team, and Juggernaut is great on defense. All other 1*s can go.

I would try to keep loki as there is a high chance of a villain centric pve happening next. What. 1*s do you have? Generally its safe to get rid of all of them except the core 3 of im40,mbw,mstorm if youve been only focusing on them.

Got those three plus jugs and c.hawk! I found him very useful in the oscorp pve. Hmm..

Chuck cHawkeye after Oscorp ends, you can rebuild him in like 1 day now with the covers awarded for every match.
