Squee, The Immortal not getting haste from Goblin Warchief [Fixed in 2.8.1]

Title says it all. I played Squee while Goblin Warchief was out. Squee absorbed the goblin tokens I had like he should, but he had summoning sickness.

The problem seems to be a bit more complex than this.

Based on my testing the Goblin Warchief only gives haste if you have another goblin in hand instead of permanently.
