Naru Meha, Master Wizard buffing other wizards bug?

This card text is: When this creature enters the battlefield, create a copy of the first spell in your hand. It gains full mana. Other Wizards you control get +2/+2.

The current behavoir is that just gives +2\+2 to other wizards in battlefield once while she is in the battlefield no matter how many Narus you cast.

I thought that it should give +2\+2 for every casted one to other wizards in battlefield forever and no just while it is in battlefield.

If not, it should say: While this creature is on the battlefield, other wizards you control get +2/+2.

I noticed the same issue and thought it would behave as the text suggests. @Brigby I believe you stated that QC was currently evaluating the infinite loop fix. Would be good to bring this up with them. Change the text or change the function... or course I’d like to see the card function change but one of those two things should happen since the card is being updated anyway.

I believe it is worded properly, as they are 2 separate lines.  The first sentence is the ETB effect.  The second sentence is a passive buff, and should just trigger once.

Conceptually this makes more sense anyway, since a +2/+2 buff to all your creatures generally doesn't stack.  Also, she is a Legendary which means (in paper) the ability is designed to only happen once and be completely separate from the ETB effect.

The way it's worded suggests the way it works to me, but it would be much clearer to add a line break after "It gains full mana."

I agree with rafalele,  This type of buff typically says "while this creature is on the battlefield" or something similar.  JUST looking at the dominaria set for similar effects that are worded as he suggests: Benalish Marshal, Lyra Dawnbringer, Arvad is similar and is actually worded the way Naru is... but that is his only text, so it's less confusing.

It would be nice for there to be an attempt at consistency here... at least within the same set.

    That's the point.
