Say Something Nice!!!

i barely post in the forum and i'm quite low on the totem pole as far as events and stuff goes, but the fact there's such a community here is pretty cool in and of itself. I downloaded the game as a causal thing and to see this grow out of it is kinda incredible at least in my opinion. the forums are super helpful for mid range and new players like myself, and while the game is changing it seems like everyone understands where everyone else is coming from. I'm gonna keep playing and hanging out cause even if the game gets frustrating the forums and the people are something i can always find solace. i don't know anyone well enough for a shout out, but y'all keep doing what you're doing.0

We would like to take this opportunity to say thank you all very much. All of the forum members - we know the names of the most everyone around here.
We have had somewhat rough going in real life since December, and coming to this forum and reading people's ramblings, jokes and advice was always a balm.
You fill an important part in our lives. A very important part. It's always a pleasure to sign in and talk to you all, or simply lurk around
THANK YOU to all of our team members. Thanks most of all to Fritejay, our great leader and the kindest man we know. He invited us into his alliance, and what a story came after that!
The rest of our teammembers are thanked here:Thank you very much to you all! Dante and Elysium, you supported us on a very critical moment on the alliance thread. Unimatrix, you're the balanced one, a counterweight to Faerie, our immortal member who always makes us laugh (get better soon!). Waku, you late riser, you are our secret weapon. Huios, Mac, Shane, Mimio, Mystwalker, Xenraf and Khal-Zarek - though you're not talking much, you're certainly playing! DOLBET, we congratulate you on your scores and your daring style of play! Cat, we love you coming in and saying that it's absolutely beautiful outside. Suture, Kennard, Rbdragon and Danman, you're the juniors, be welcome! And finally, Jan, the ScarFighter behind the 21st element, it's been a pleasure ghostwriting for you :)
And a special thank you to someone who doesn't even know we exist, TU1. You've made us laugh to the point of tears, and cheered up many a sad day. Jan says she wants to be like you when she grows up (she's 33 years old right now, but there's still hope, right?).0 -

I shall go now as my job is done. I will leave you now in the capable and amusing hands of Klingsor.0 -
I want to say a huge thank-you to all the wise members of the forum who helped me out when I was a n00b and engaged in discussion when I became knowledgeable enough to do so.
Let's see:
walkyourpath
Nemek
NorthernPolarity
Phantron
Jozier
TheLadder
mischiefmaker
Even though probably few people other than those I've named above even remember him, I'd like to give a shout-out to DumDumDugan, probably the wisest and most respected forum member ever. Let us give a salute in his memory!
Even if I didn't name you above, there are so many others that have been infinitely helpful to me and to other members. Thanks so much, everyone!
Additionally, I want to commend the mods for their work here. I don't know exactly what you do, and it sure can't be easy- but you've done an excellent job of it so far!
Thanks to all of the people who give me laughs with their zany comments- TU1 and Dormammu, you two specifically but others as well.
Finally, I want to give a HUGE thank-you to IceIX. You have been the most tolerant and helpful rep imaginable. Thanks for putting up with us, through good times and bad.
This is such an awesome community.

TheUnwiseOne wrote:TWYSTA- Man Utd fan so you get 10/10
You only love me for my allegiance and not for my personality
As for everyone else...
You're all tinykitties!
...Oh **** I meant great... typo.0 -
TU1: I don't make food for anyone, including myself, but I'm still glad you made this post. You're hilarious, and you're one of the many reasons Django is so much fun. You're like, oddly thoughtful sometimes.
Ferret: Retroactively ruined my childhood.
IceIX: Not only an amazing dev/admin, but also probably the only sane person of the Djangos and still manages to deal with us. And has the cutest scores in the alliance.
HailMary: Hilarious, kind, courteous, and keeps all the Djangos updated. He also always uses proper spelling and grammar, which makes me so freaking happy. You're my favorite person to spazz with in the chat!
pandaberry6: A fellow lady friend who helps me cause trouble in the Django threads!
noob: Can't figure out how to share rewards with anyone but me, which is awesome. Totally weird, and totally entertaining.
Jamie Madrox: is awesome for caring about equality in geek culture
Gozu: Is stealthy? He's like a phantom ghost that we occasionally see in the chat and who always brings in major points.
Pats: Repeatedly dishes out awesome advice.
coolbond: the local Swedish viking.
dlaw: is good for shenanigans but scolds me for breaking things in the HQ.0 -
I hate that I can't give out rep all the time - I keep being scolded for trying to give rep too soon. I want to rep everyone!
Here are some names that have not been mentioned much but deserve to be:
MischiefMaker: I rarely squee when someone posts numbers... But when I do it's because michiefMaker is posting token probability.
Pamizard: I am totally cheering for you and your progress through this game! It might be your catchy name or your posting personality but you always catch my attention for all the right reasons!
Laoahpeh: Your post to rep ratio is out of control! I am totally jelly! Way to contribute!
Spider-man 6234: You are definitely the friendliest neighborhood Spider-Man in the forum! Thanks for being a constructive poster and also for sniping page 100 from TheUnworthyOne. Lol...
Valeromie- (sorry for probably butchering your name) You are one of the First Ladies I met here and you definitely set the bar high - you are awesome and intelligent and nerdy and funny. I like reading your posts.0 -
I would like to pay tribute to:
Nick-Fury: The retired one.0 -
FoxyMulder wrote:HailMary: Hilarious, kind, courteous, and keeps all the Djangos updated. He also always uses proper spelling and grammar, which makes me so freaking happy. You're my favorite person to spazz with in the chat!
P.S. - The thumb-thumb no worky for me.pandaberry6 wrote:Pamizard: I am totally cheering for you and your progress through this game! It might be your catchy name or your posting personality but you always catch my attention for all the right reasons!
Also, that Spider-man guy, if he wasn't Dear Leader of his own alliance, we'd totes give him an Honorary Djangolier sticker. But nope, he had to go be all awesome on his own, so, no sticker. Joke's on him.0 -

You know normally I'd just attack you regardless of what you wrote because that's what we do... but I'm going to get serious for a second:
Coming from you this is a compliment. Thank you and thanks for keeping the forum fun
Ok enough of that, get back to your alliance thread and leave these nice people alone0 -
I lurk in most threads, and sometimes my own alliance chat, but in no particular order...
Hailmary and TU1 - They come as a pair, and balance each other pretty well. Definitely the reason that I applied for DU in the first place.
dlaw - The bestest boss-man around.
MTGOFerret - Highly active, excellent player, has good opinions about characters.
Mimmer - Most interesting ninja around. Only we know for sure that she exists.
FoxyMulder - Probably the most innocent person in Django.
Allorin - Still in Django, even though his nick is no longer listed in our roster.
Spider-man6234 - You're a good person. Shine on.
pandaberry6 - Needs to be able to crash our alliance chat as well as our thread. Just cos.
WYP, The Ladder, Nemek - They have opinions I respect a lot. I used to read all your posts. Now I keep those posts in a shrine off to the side in my bat-cave.
The rest of SHIELD - Come crash our thread more! We like you...
Colognoisseur - Good grief man, your roster. It's over 9000.
IceIX - Best dev -> player communicator in existence. Seriously, you do it very well, and you don't shirk the job even when you know that the news you're delivering is ... painful.
Everyone one else - you rock too.
Feel good posts are good.0 -
Nice thread lol0

What am I a Pokemon? You're my favourite mod because your personality really shines through your posts and it makes me smile.
All of the members that have told me that they now listen to Where Monsters Dwell regularly (episode 290 tonight at 8:30pm Eastern). You rule the most.
Omg. I am still lol'ing at you. All forum members are just pokemon to me. And you tried to evolve to escape from me! Lol. You rock dude. You just earned an alarm on my phone - I am totes listening to your show tonight.

Riggy - We have the most fun in Stark a Tower when no one is looking. Because ya'all can't. And Riggy and I can.
Nonce - Places so consistently high and plays so well that he has broke mmr harder than anyone here. Now THAT is impressive sir.
Doneskis - His daily rants are epic. And daily. He hates on GSBW like most people hate on Bagman.
Amanda1983 - Awesome individual, helps keep the forums a friendly place to be.
TU1- deserves more attention.0 -
CLINTMAN- The voice of reason
ICEIX- has to put up with alot of us moaning in the forums...then he comes to our in-game-chat where we moan some more

fritejay2 wrote:Arogntbastrd - The man who made twerking a mexican building because of MPQuesting & probably raging.
