game no longer lets me log in via facebook using my chromebook

in MtGPQ Bugs & Technical Issues
after recent update game asked me to log in thru facebook and when i try it gives me an error that says "Google Chrome OS can't open this page"... luckily i can still play on my phone and my tablet but i dont know why this is happening now when i never had an issue before.

    Can you open Facebook in your browser on your Chromebook? Then there's always trying resetting your computer.

    Yes I can and I've already tried restarting the chromebook which isn't exactly a computer more of a laptop sized mobile device (it runs apk not exe)

    I have a laptop somewhere tho, may as well dig it out at some point and try to play on that, I usually play on tablet at home but battery goes dead occasionaly so I would switch to my chromebook
