Steam players please read

I was trying to buy the HP offer earlier today. The thing is that if you have had mpq running (and thereby Steam) a while, the Add funds function will probably had crashed on you. If you then try to add funds, a sort of dead Add funds dialogue is shown where you cannot click on anything and the minimum fund button is missing. You will have to restart mpq and steam, but then the one time offer is gone. This is such a bummer. Steam support is playing dumb as usual when I report it so I gave up. Just fair warning to other steam users, if you see a deal on eg. HP, use a newly restarted steam/mpq game when shopping.

This is the brain dead reply I get after submitting TWO images showing what happened:

Our records indicate that you're trying to buy an in-game item which requires that you use Steam wallet credits. Upon checking, your Steam wallet balance was not enough to cover the cost of this item.

Sigh...
