Making Slimefoot even more great

Hey folks,

they title says it all: I wanna make Slimefoot more powerful than he already is. I like to play around with cards and not just put big dummies in my decks.

To start the discussion, I post the deck list of my saproling deck with Samut as PW:

Slimefoot alone with Samuts first ability is a beating. Verdant Force, Saproling Migration and Path of Discovery are no brainer. I combine Slimefoot with Tilonallis Shapeshifter to get the buffs somewhat doubled and Sunbird's Invocation just gives me Saproling Migration sometimes, which gives Slimefoot some extra power and toughness. The rest of the cards should be clear.

Do you have any broken combos with Slimefoot? Any color and PW allowed. I would love to gather some cool ideas. :)

For slime I prefer vraska (deck:
    Creatures:

Ghalta (berserker + easy to cast after slime get fat)
    Slime
Radha or garna (first to get mana faster, second one to give haste just because Samut is out of standard). I know garna is countering graveyard strategy - Primeval - but usually my hand is already full)

    Spells:
Uncage managerie - to get creatures fast
Hour of Promise - obvious reasons
Spore swarm - food for slime
Saproling migration - food for slime
Gather the pack - fill graveyard,  get creatures
Primeval glorious rebirth - as graveyard is filled with creatures - why not?

    Supports :
Rites - graveyard fill, get creature,  get more mana with three creatures on board)

Hazoret's Unduying Fury is a great way to cast lots of food for Slimefoot !

The German certainly adds something to the mix  :)

I wish I had the German version for Tilonalli's Skinshifter, way cooler.

If I had Tendershoot Dryad and Growing Rites of Itlimoc, I'd replace Doomfall and Journey to Eternity with them.

Growing Rites and Gather the Pack would consistently fill the graveyard with creatures. Just use Muldrotha to keep pulling Dark Petition to drop them into the field.

I would love to have an ingame option to switch to English. It’s a pain in the rear to google up those translations. xD

If you have it, I like running Verix Bladewing for Sammut. It doesn't directly support Slimefoot, but it does provide a form of removal in the consistent creature damage, and ramp in that it converts gems red.

More directly supporting Slimefoot, though, Spore Swarm could be more consistent than Saproling Migration. It's 5 mana for 3 saprolings while Saproling Migration is 5 mana for 2 saprolings, unless you have banked mana in which case it's 8 mana for 4 saprolings. Not, in my opinion, the best value.

With your green gem converters abundant, Fungal Plots might be a good add? 2 activated green gems to create a saproling.

I think if you change the phone language it should change the game language. Didn't test this myself.

It does. But then, the whole phone is setup in English.. A language switch would be great!
