Why kaladesh boosters as a reward?

I’m usually a few days behind on my dailies so perhaps this was already debated... feel free to merge as necessary. 

Why the eff am I receiving kaladesh boosters?! This is not exciting to me; I can’t use any of these cards in meaningful events. 

It just feels like they forgot to update the calendar when they released the new sets.

Not only Kaladesh, but also Amonkhet. 

Kaladesh was out standard last month and also we had a booster as daily reward.
