Weenie Decks / Aggro strategies

Hey Folks,
I've been playing a lot of decks in the past two years, but I barely get a good and really fast aggro strategy going. Is just me? Or a suboptimal card pool? I always had easier wins with high-costed beaters or control strategies. Am I missing some good card combos? All colours allowed.

When Kaladesh was around, weenie decks were at an all-time high; cards like Sram, Kari Zev, Solemn Recruit, Lightning Runner, etc. were the backbones of an extremly fast and explosive decks. Unfortunately, those have all rotated out and we haven't gotten viable replacements. I think this is part of a conscious attempt to slow the game down a bit and shift power higher on the mana curve.One of the challenges with PQ, compared to paper, is that planeswalkers have such high life totals. Thus, weenies don't generate much pressure unless they can proportionately increase their power. Similarly, because there's no way to go wide, it's difficult to overwhelm your opponent.A 2/2 weenie in paper puts the opponent on a 10-turn clock. A 4/4 weenie in PQ puts them on a 25-30 turn clock, which isn't much of one at all, especially when you're facing decks with extreme mana ramp and fatty generation.I'm hoping this is just a temporary lull and that the pendulum swings towards weenie aggro again in future sets, as it remains my favorite type of deck to play. Until then, I think aggro owners have to move a bit towards the midgame and look at the 11-15 mana range for creatures.

My most easy solution to go aggro still is nahiri zoo, preferably paired with first strike weenies + berserker /defender. The Dom knights are great for this approach! An alternative is samut. I use her with GR, skinshifter to spit out as much damage as possible. The nahiri approach still has some control, but samut is 100% "I beat you faster than your deck can be set up"

The pirates offer some interesting oportunities for weenie strategy, but lannery storm is the real engine and the deck gets much slower without her.2

It is possible to build a really good vampire token deck in Standard right now.

Any decklists? Because I feel that vampires not really doing it for me. But maybe I'm missing the right rares and mythics.

Even the Forerunner of Vampires is excellent, but I have Legion's Landing which goes in most white decks now. Though it's perfect with Thopter Spy Network especially.

You don't need too many vampires, because you probably always want a creature spot open for the 1/1 lifelink tokens.I'd look for card advantage. Anything which can fetch other vampires or put 2 or more bodies into play is a good bet. Even something as simple as Forerunner of the Legion + Legion Conquistador can create an engine. Forerunner can create a 1/1 token, fetch your first Legion Conquistador, and then each Legion Conquistador will fetch another Legion Conquistador and spawn another token.0

Pirates plus card draw plus Storm the Vault can do a lot of damage really fast. Paid that with Bolas so that you can kill a creature every other turn without using a card slot, and you're golden.0

with standard losing hazoret's favour, made smaller
creatures decks a lot less powerful.

My H2 white vamp deck is pretty strong but it does need at least one heavy hitter to win quickly.
I have a decent Nahiri knight deck,but it will be better once hour of Devastation rotates out.0 -
