As per subject.  No screenshot as you wouldn't be able to tell if the damage was dealt before or after the power bonus.

    Can confirm.
And to add: The creature keeps the +2/0 effect indefinitely.

There also isn't anything saying the +2/0 is temporary, but I'm pretty sure it did that before the buff order got bugged and we all just accepted it.

I also witnessed this. My creature "fights" and then gets the buff. Totally reversed from not only previous but from the card's intended use.

It's surprising how often this makes the difference between being able to kill my opponent's creature or not. I'd personally prefer the temporary buff with proper order to the way it works now, though fixing the order and keeping the permanent buff would be even better.

Hi Everyone. Ambuscade dealing damage, prior to applying the +2/+0 buff is in fact intended.

I will be sure to reach out to the team to see if its description can be adjusted to be more concise.

Thank you for this. Not to be nitpicking; but, per the original MTG card, it should be giving the +2/+0 buff then dealing damage.

I remember the card worked perfectly fine after its initial release; but then became bugged with the effect being reversed (as it is now).

Technically, I dont use it anymore so it doesnt make much difference to me but i imagine for newer players this could be somones lifeblood.

My question is: is it due to another possible bug/conflict caused with other cards that it cannot be reverted back to its original state (+2/+0 then dealing damage)?

If so, it would be much easier to swallow i believe. Of course changing the text will be pivotal in preventing the issue from arising/bein reported again from newer players.

@jimpark That sounds like it'd be more of a design choice, so I'll be sure to include that feedback in my report to the team.

Thank you for your response and I would greatly appreciate that.

I would strongly urge that ambuscade gives the buff, does damage, and then removes buff. The reasons being:
    1. It would be an accurate MTG to MTGPQ translation
    2. It was initially released functioning this way
    3. The color green does not have access to as much premium(strong/effective) creature destruction; thus making this card all the more important (particularly among players with less than optimal card collections)
