Overlapping event bad. Surprise overlapping event very bad. Surprise overlapping event not at the weekend worse bad. Surprise overlapping event not at the weekend which requires new deckbuilds doubleplusbad.
You forgot that rto is also bugged so that some people is locked out of it. Don't know if it is a bad thing though
And I forgot that they also left for memorial day just when the new event is rolling for the first time overlapping with one of the buggest event ever

I guess this went off-topic pretty fast.

I can’t understand for the life of me why they decided on overlapping events - again...

I doubt they "decided", it was probably a rush job "We're off for the day, what can we put in fast?"

And I partly think that because Race to Orcas has the _single-player_ icon, it might be tagged wrong in their inventory so whoever did it didn't even realise they were putting a coalition event in the calendar.

Never put down to malice what can be explained by simple human lack of coffee in the morning.

Brigby atleast knew it was a coalition event since he updated the schedule and marked it like that.
Don't know how involved in the actual decisions he is though.

Game crashed on one node for wonderful insta-loss and now can't get back in to game. Stacked coalition events not only difficult to juggle, but also seem to cause issues in general.

Meanwhile, while other players are having difficulties getting into RtO...

I'm having trouble getting into ANY event - even Training Grounds.

I'd love to hear what the heck is going on with the servers.

Perhaps it was because they were updating servers to program Oath to the Gatewatch for tomorrow.

No malice intended in my comment.

But... In the end, a live person made the decision to put down overlapping events. Malice intended or not. Coffee or not. It still happened...
