I got called out for describing someone's roster without giving names. I do not see how this is any different. Exact point scores still clearly identify a player and would be just as much a violation as roster description if not more so.

    Thanks for compiling the data.

4432+4070+3220=11712 players spread into 13 brackets.

How many players in total were in CL7-9 in the Time Stone season (the one before Reality Stone)? Is it possible that the players just moved around? If the last bracket for CL7 only had 1000 players, the 2220 can easily make 2 new brackets for CL8 and CL9. Or, the numbers might look reduced because of CL7 or CL8 players moving down to CL6.

I know some players have left or are leaving the game.  But I think the reduced number of brackets could also be due to several factors: summer is coming in the northern hemisphere, exam and holiday time for students, and the previously mentioned leaving players. I know when I was in my casual alliance, we had to look for new players pretty much every 6 months.
That’s a good question but nobody has this data even the people that track this.  The only people that would have this, unless they are crazy like me, would be Demi/D3 but I don’t think they would give us that info.  The good thing is now this post is here and we will have this data for next season.

I did not say what ally they were in.  I did not use any names.  I did not say who their top 3 characters are. The scores are live data that anybody can get from your bracket.  You would have to be in the bracket or see the SS that was sent to me.  I tried my best not to call a person out.

When this was released to only Top 1, the backlash was massive because it showed that only the strongest rosters would get this.  So I decided then when somebody suggested to get all this data by crowdsourceing.

Also, Thank You to everybody that got me this data. Was a great help.

The problem with this is that, whilst useful, it doesn't really demonstrate the level of engagement.  The number of people spread across CL9-CL7 may or may not change a little (seems pretty similar to last season given the near 12,000 in open brackets) but this data doesn't show the scores at the lower ends of each bracket which is a much more reliable indicator than the upper reaches.

For example I was in CL9.2 and finished 60th with ~18k.  Next season I'll likely join CL9 again but doubt I'll even hit 10k with my intended level of play.  And I'm sure there are people who will for a variety of reasons (including RL) play even less than that.

Since you're not allowed to use names (but you are probably tracking them), it would be a good idea to use letters instead of score? This way, for subsequent seasons, we know if it's the same players or not finishing first.

    SL9: 4 brackets

    33228:  550/541/53-1st bracket - A
    33709:  524/517/514-2nd bracket - B
    30039:  506/496/477-3rd bracket - C

    SL8: 4 brackets
    30628:  517/487/483-1st bracket - E
    31608:  550/540/539-2nd bracket - F
    30000:  550/550/550-3rd bracket - G
    11960:  456/453/452-Last Flip with 4070 players - H

@Pongie sorry I am not following you on this.  While I do have these, I am not really going to track what IGN won for each season.

This might be a dumb question, but why do we have to keep the winners anonymous? You wouldn't keep the winners of the Superbowl a secret. These winners should be paraded through the halls of MPQ Valhalla, for they have truly earned their glory! Why, just look at the completely random player that placed 4th in the second SCL7 bracket. TRULY an amazing score!

I agree - the "no names" is to prevent shaming, there is no shaming going on .

    Just for fun

SLC6, no clue what bracket, but mine was full at 5k:

    1) 10107  270/270/270
    2) 9937   183/183/181
    3) 9687    330/285/285

    SL9.1

    1. 33228  550/541/533
    2  31874  550/550/500
    3  30181  488/485/482
    4  28266  550/550/550
    5  27790
    I can see this one, #2 is 550/550/550, #4 has 6 550s, #5 is 468/464/463.
My Wolveroach account (maybe I'll be jailed for using its name) was #976, and has no 550s.

While yes, those 2 lost brackets weren't really that close to flipping, without knowing where the partial brackets were at at the end of the season before this last one means that saying "we lost 2 brackets" is a bit deceptive, especially since the non lost one looked pretty full as well. Without knowing if people dropped down, the player attrition could be anywhere from a few hundred to the 10k that "2 lost brackets" is clearly trying to insinuate

I figured it would be good to track since there is no way to view other people’s support like we can view their roster. When support eventually comes to pvp, this knowledge of who has the infinity stone(s) will be handy.

Not really.  This is the data that nobody tracks.  We know for fact that we had 5 SL7/8/9 brackets that all flipped with at least 3-4 Events left last season.  I had to track down people to get the actual screen shots with how many people were in this not filled brackets. I will try and do this again next season to truly prove what the data is.
